# How to Import Binance Transactions into KoinX

> Export your Binance transaction history as Excel files and import into KoinX to generate your crypto tax report. Covers Spot, P2P, Earn, and Options.

## How to export your Binance transaction history

**Binance uses File Upload only — export each product type you’ve used (Spot, P2P, Earn, Options, Alpha) and upload all files together in one KoinX session.** Only download the tabs that apply to you.

            Go to [binance.com](https://www.binance.com) → **Wallet** → **Asset History**.

            Click the **Download** icon on the right → **Export Transaction Records**.

          <Step title="Select Transaction History">
            Under **Data Type**, choose **Asset History** → **Transaction History**.
          </Step>

          <Step title="Set your full date range">
            Select **1 Jan 2017 to till date**. Keep **Excel** as the file format.

            Click **Generate**. Once it appears in Export Details, download it. Do not open it.

            From **Export Transaction Records** → **Asset History** → **C2C History**.

            Select **1 Jan 2017 to till date** → **Generate** → download when ready.

          P2P is the most commonly missed file. Also download Earn history if you've used any Binance Earn products - switch to the Earn / Staking tab.

            From **Export Transaction Records** → **Asset History** → **Earn** → **Advanced Earn**.

            Under **Type**, choose your Earn product (Staking, Savings, Dual Investment) or **All**.

          <Step title="Generate and download">
            Set date range → **Generate** → download when ready.

          Used multiple Earn products? Export each one separately for the most accurate classification in KoinX.

          Also download your Options history if you've traded Binance Options - switch to the Options tab.

            Under **Data Type** → **Transaction History** → **Options** → **Transaction History**.

            Binance limits Options exports to **1 year per file**. Select one year at a time.

            Click **Generate** → download when ready. Repeat for each year of trading history.

          Options require one file per year. If you traded across multiple years, export each year separately and upload all files together.

          Also download your Alpha trading history if you've used Binance Alpha - switch to the Alpha Trading History tab.

            Under **Data Type**, choose **Trade History** → **Alpha** → **Order History**.

          <Step title="Select a 6-month date range">
            Binance limits Alpha exports to **6 months per file**. Select one 6-month window at a time.

          <Step title="Generate and download">
            Keep **Excel** as the file format → click **Generate** → download when ready. Repeat for each 6-month period of Alpha trading history.

          Alpha exports cover 6 months per file. If you traded Alpha over a longer period, export each 6-month window separately and upload all files together.

## Upload to KoinX

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open KoinX Integrations">
    Log in to [app.koinx.com](https://app.koinx.com) → **Integrations** → **Add Integration**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Binance">
    Search for **Binance** and select it.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Upload all your files">
    Click **Upload** and select all your Binance files at once. Multi-select works.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Submit">
    Click **Submit**. KoinX processes your files and imports your full transaction history.
  </Step>

  **Done.** KoinX reads your transactions, classifies them, deduplicates overlapping records, and prepares everything for gains calculation and report generation.

Now that your Binance files are in, head to [Tax Reports](https://app.koinx.com/tax-report) on KoinX - your capital gains across Spot, P2P, Earn, and Options are already calculated and your report is ready to download.

<Warning>
  **Never open Binance CSV files in Excel or Google Sheets before uploading.** This corrupts the file format. If you already did - re-export a fresh copy from Binance.

## Frequently asked questions

  <Accordion title="Do I need to download all four file types?">
    Only download the file types you’ve actually used. If you’ve only done Spot trading, one file is enough. If you’ve used P2P, Earn, or Options, export those separately and upload everything together in one session.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why does P2P data need a separate export?">
    Binance stores P2P (C2C) activity in a completely separate section from regular trades. It’s not included in the standard Transaction History export — you must download C2C History separately.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How far back does my date range need to go?">
    Set it from **1 Jan 2017 to today** to capture your complete history. Partial exports lead to missing transactions and inaccurate tax calculations.

  <Accordion title="What happens if my export has more than 50,000 records?">
    Binance may fail to generate the file. In that case, split the date range into smaller chunks (e.g., 2–3 years per file) and upload all files together in KoinX.

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="P2P trades are missing">
    Download and upload the **C2C History** file. P2P activity is stored separately and requires its own export from the Binance Data Download Center.

  <Accordion title="Earn or staking transactions are missing">
    Download the **Advanced Earn / Dual Investment** history file and upload it alongside your other files.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Options trades are not appearing">
    Ensure you exported the **Options Transaction History** file. Binance limits this to 1 year per export — you may need multiple files.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Export generation is failing">
    Reduce the date range and generate multiple smaller files. Exports exceeding 50,000 records may fail on Binance’s end.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I’ve hit the monthly export quota">
    Each Binance export type has a monthly generation limit. Wait for the monthly reset or contact Binance Support to request an increase.
