## Frequently asked questions

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Why do I need 5 separate files from CoinEx?">
    CoinEx stores different activity types in separate sections. Deposits and Withdrawals are under Assets, while Spot, Margin, and Futures are each under their own History sections. Missing any one file will leave gaps in your import.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What is the 50,000 record export limit?">
    CoinEx caps each export at 50,000 records. If you have a large trading history, reduce the date range and export in batches (e.g. per quarter or per year). Upload all batch files together in one KoinX session.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What about CoinSet or liquidity pool transactions?">
    CoinSet transactions (liquidity pools, AMM shares, Earn/Financial products) cannot be fully imported because LP share amounts are often missing from CoinEx exports. Add these manually in KoinX using LPx placeholders under the Liquidity Providing section.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does CoinEx support API sync with KoinX?">
    No. CoinEx does not currently support direct API integration with KoinX. File upload is the only supported method.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does KoinX support my country’s crypto tax rules?">
    Yes. KoinX supports 100+ countries including India, US, UK, Australia, Canada, and Germany. Select your country after importing to generate the right report.
  </Accordion>

## Troubleshooting

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Transactions are missing after import">
    Ensure all 5 file types were exported and uploaded. Also check the date range covers your full CoinEx history. Re-export any missing file types and re-upload.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Export failed or hit the 50,000 record limit">
    Reduce the date range and export in smaller batches (e.g. 3 months at a time). Upload all batch files together in one KoinX session.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="CoinSet or LP transactions are missing">
    These cannot be imported via file upload. Use **manual entry in KoinX** with LPx placeholders. See the Liquidity Providing section in KoinX for step-by-step guidance.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Upload error in KoinX">
    Re-download fresh files from CoinEx without opening or editing them. CoinEx typically exports as CSV or XLSX — both are accepted by KoinX.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I’m hitting export limits frequently">
    Export files regularly (e.g. quarterly) before hitting limits. This makes year-end tax preparation faster and avoids large batch exports.
  </Accordion>
