# How to Generate Your Giottus Tax Report with KoinX

> Connect your Giottus account to KoinX in a few steps to generate and file your Giottus taxes accurately. Tracks Section 194S TDS and generates an ITD-compliant Schedule VDA report.

## Connect Giottus to KoinX

**Giottus uses File Upload only - export Trade History and INR History separately from the mobile app and upload both files together in KoinX.**

            Launch the Giottus app on your phone and sign in to your account.

            Tap the **Dashboard** button.

            Navigate to the **Trade History** section.

          <Step title="Download the CSV">
            Tap the **Download** button. Select the maximum available duration starting from the date you created your Giottus account. Tap **Download** to save the file to your device. Do not open it.

              Also download your INR History - switch to the INR History tab to continue.

            Select the same time range covering your full account history. Ensure the file format is set to **CSV** and tap **Download**. Do not open the file.

    ## Upload to KoinX

        Log in to [app.koinx.com](https://app.koinx.com) -> **Integrations** -> **Add Integration**.

        Search for **Giottus** and select it.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Upload both files">
        Click **Upload** and select both your Giottus CSV files - Trade History and INR History. Multi-select works.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Submit">
        Click **Submit**. KoinX processes your files and imports your full transaction history.
      </Step>

    <Check>
      **Done.** KoinX reads your transactions, classifies them, and prepares everything for gains calculation and Schedule VDA report generation.
    </Check>

    Now that your Giottus data is in, head to [Tax Reports](https://app.koinx.com/tax-report) on KoinX - your 30% VDA capital gains and ITR-ready report are already calculated and ready to download.

      **Never open Giottus CSV files before uploading.** This corrupts the file format. Re-export fresh copies from the Giottus app if you already did.

## Troubleshooting

    Re-export directly from the Giottus app and upload the unmodified file. Do not open it in Excel or Google Sheets before uploading as this corrupts the file format.

    INR History is a separate export from Trade History in the Giottus app. Open the app -> **Dashboard** -> **INR History** -> **Download**. Upload this file to KoinX alongside your Trade History file.

  <Accordion title="Transaction count looks lower than expected after upload">
    Re-export from Giottus selecting the maximum available date range from account creation to today. Upload the new files to KoinX.

  <Accordion title="KoinX is showing duplicate Giottus transactions">
    This happens when overlapping CSV files covering the same date range are uploaded. Go to **KoinX** -> **Integrations**, remove the duplicate Giottus upload, and re-upload a clean set of files with no overlapping date ranges.
