Should I select all trade types when requesting the WazirX report?
Yes. Select all available trade types - INR, Crypto-to-Crypto, and P2P - to ensure your complete trading history is included. Missing any trade type will result in incomplete transaction data and inaccurate tax calculations.
Where does WazirX send the trade report?
WazirX sends the CSV report to your registered email address after you click Request Trade Report. Download the file from the email and upload it directly to KoinX without opening it.
Does WazirX deduct TDS on crypto transactions?
Yes. WazirX deducts 1% TDS on applicable crypto transactions under Section 194S of the Income Tax Act, 1961. This applies to INR, Crypto-to-Crypto, and P2P sell transactions. KoinX accounts for TDS deducted when calculating your tax liability.
Does WazirX generate tax reports directly?
No. WazirX does not provide tax-ready reports for direct filing. By exporting your trade report and importing it into KoinX, your full transaction history is processed and a compliant, country-specific tax report is generated within minutes.
Does KoinX support my country's crypto tax rules?
Yes. KoinX supports 100+ countries with dedicated report formats for India, the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, and more. After importing your WazirX data, select your country to generate the correct report.
Re-download a fresh copy of the report from your WazirX email without opening it. Opening the file in Excel or Google Sheets reformats date and number columns, breaking the file structure KoinX expects. Only use the official CSV downloaded from your WazirX account.
Transactions are missing after upload
Confirm the report covers your full trading history for the selected financial year with no gaps. If some months are missing, re-request the report with a wider date range and re-upload. Also verify all trade types were selected before requesting.
Report has not arrived in email
Check your Spam or Junk folder for the email from WazirX. If it has not arrived after a few hours, log in to WazirX and re-request the trade report. Confirm your registered email address is active and accessible.
CSV file looks incomplete or shows recent transactions missing
WazirX may take a few hours to process recent transactions into the export. Wait a few hours and re-download the CSV from WazirX before uploading again.
KoinX is showing duplicate WazirX transactions
This happens when the same CSV is uploaded more than once. Go to KoinX -> Integrations, remove the duplicate WazirX upload, and retain only a single file covering your full history.
Wrong file type or layout error on upload
Only upload the official trade report CSV downloaded from your WazirX account. Manually compiled spreadsheets or files exported from other tools will not be processed correctly by KoinX.
